The grapevine in K’town is that Thala Ajith’s Valimai, which was planning a schedule change due to the global coronavirus pandemic, might lock horns with Annaatthe for Pongal 2021. However, a reliable source informs us that Boney Kapoor has not decided anything yet and might look at summer 2021 for release.

Directed by Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor, Valimai team was planning to head to Spain, Jordan and Morocco for shooting some important scenes in the movie. However, the makers are now planning for a huge schedule change due to the spread of the coronavirus.
