Dhanush, who is waiting for the release of The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir on 21 June, has confirmed that he is planning to star in the Tamil remake of Andhadhun. 

“It’s a brilliant film and we have already started the process of acquiring the rights. It’s one of those thrillers which I wouldn’t mind remaking in Tamil,” Dhanush told Mumbai Mirror. Dhanush also confirmed teaming up with director Aanand L Rai of Raanjhanaa fame for another film.
