Vishal’s father makes Tamil acting debut in Nivin Pauly’s next

Vishal’s father and popular producer G.K Reddy has been roped in by debutant director Gautham Ramachandran for his Tamil acting debut in Nivin Pauly’s yet-untitled project, which is currently underway in Manappad, Tuticorin. G.K. Reddy was last seen in Kannada film Rakshasi, an official remake of Mysskin’s Pisaasu, where he reprised the role of Radharavi.

“When I met and rehearsed with him, I realized there’s some oddity in his performance which makes him unique. I found a spark in him. We did about 50-60 rehearsals with him. We started off with few shots, took a break, and then rehearsed after he grew his beard,” he said.

The movie is an official remake of Kannada hit Ulidavaru Kandante and also stars Shraddha Srinath, cameraman Natty in important roles.
