Udhay’s Manithan Detailed Revenue Break-Up

The Udhayanidhi Stalin – Hansika – Aishwarya Rajesh starrer Manithan recently completed its successful 50 days run in Tamil Nadu. The film was directed by Ahmed and featured a lovely soundtrack by Santhosh Narayanan. Udhay’s own Red Giant Movies produced and released this ‘Jolly LLB‘ remake, which moved the audiences all over.

We have come to know the detailed revenue break-up of the film. It’s as follows,

TN theatrical share – 6 crores (after entertainment tax)
Satellite rights – 4.50 crores (Vijay TV)
FMS – 1.25 crores
Audio – 50 lakhs
Kerala + Bangalore + Hyderabad + North India – 50 lakhs

The total revenue from all these avenues adds up to 12.75 crores. Looks like a good outing for Udhay and his Red Giant team.
