Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s kindhearted gesture

Vijay visited the family of late Major Mukund Varadarajan, a soldier of  44th Battalion Rashtriya Rifles who recently lost his life fighting militants on the battlefield in Kashmir. The whole nation mourned for the brave hero and he was cremated in Chennai with full state honors.

Major Mukund Varadarajan is survived by his wife Indhu Rebecca Varghese (her heartfelt tribute for Mukund on Facebook is still etched in public’s memories) and his 3-year-old daughter named Arsheya. Vijay paid a surprise visit to Major’s house and spent a good amount of time with the little kid Arsheya.
