Vijay Sethupathi talks about Iraivi

Vijay Sethupathi, who is expected to have the most number of releases this year, talks about his highly anticipated project Iraivi with director Karthik Subbaraj. “A big thanks to Karthik Subbaraj for writing and directing a film like Iraivi. I’m truly delighted that I was a part of this film. There is no life without women here. Mother, wife, daughter or sister form an integral part of our life. Without them, there is no room for emotions in our life. Iraivi will make us realize that. Movies with similar subject have always been message-tellers. But Iraivi has come out as a complete entertainer,” says Vijay Sethupathi.

“Karthik was very sure about not being preachy. Iraivi will be entertaining but will also carry a message to the audience without being instructive,” adds Vijay who is paired opposite Anjali in the film. Iraivi also features S. J. Surya, Bobby Simha, Kamalinee Mukherjee, Pooja Devariya, Karunakaran, Radharavi and Vadivukkarasi in important roles. Santhosh Narayanan has composed music. The film is currently under the post production stage.
