“We never approached Vidya Balan for Thala,” says Siruthai Siva

Except Only Kollywood, almost every one in the digital media went viral with a rumor that Vidya Balan was approached for Thala 55 in Siruthai Siva’s upcoming directorial. However, the filmmaker has brushed aside news as rumors. “We never approached Vidya Balan at all. In fact, I am in the initial stage of scripting and it is too premature to talk about the casting.”

Siva, after the success of Veeram, has started working on the script for Ajith’s next film. Meanwhile, Ajith is busy working round the clock for Gautham Menon’s untitled project fondly called by fans as Thala 55.
