VidaaMuyarchi: Ajith starrer opens with 26 crores at the TN Box Office on day one, more numbers here!
Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi has started off things in huge fashion at the TN box office, with opening day numbers registering approximately 26.3 crores in the state, registering as the 2nd best opener for the star. The film has opened at an all-time number 6, beating Vijay’s Master, but still standing below Valimai. (Note: Valimai had early morning special shows)

The second day being a working day is seeing a considerable drop, we have to wait and see how the film sustains at the box office.
In the neighboring state Kerala, Vidaamuyarchi has grossed 1.35CR, making it as 3rd best opener for the star standing behind Vivegam and Thunivu. In Karnataka, the film registers as the best opener for AK by grossing 4.6CR. Whereas in AP/TG and North India, Vidaamuyarchi managed to gross less than a crore only.
In the overseas markets, Vidaamuyarchi is seeing a good opening, becoming the best start for Ajith, surpassing his previous best Thunivu. Collectively, Vidaamuyarchi has grossed $1.53 million, with North America at $375K being his highest yet. Even in the UK, Vidaamuyarchi has managed to pull in 85K euros, surpassing his Thunivu.
The coming weekend will be crucial for the film and we have to see if it will cross the 5 million mark worldwide, the 100 crore mark worldwide in 3 days, and also the 100 crore mark in TN. Let’s watch out!
