Varalaxmi Sarathkumar begins shooting for Maari 2
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who plays a powerful role in Dhanush’s Maari 2, has started shooting for the film. Contrary to reports, her role doesn’t have any grey shades like Sandakozhi 2 where she plays the antagonist.

Directed by Balaji Mohan and produced by Dhanush under his home banner Wunderbar Films, Maari 2 also has Sai Pallavi, Krishna in important roles. Tovino Thomas plays the villain role in the film, which has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
