Suriya’s film with Vetrimaaran is surely happening, with shoot to start in the second half of the year. Vetrimaaran will complete his film with Soori first up, and then move on to his film with Suriya.
According to sources, Vetrimaaran’s film with Suriya is said to be based on a popular novel Vaadi Vaasal, penned by CS Chellappa. The film is said to be based on the Jallikattu sport, which is a genre which has been rarely explored in Tamil cinema. Director Vetrimaaran has made the announcement officially at the Vikatan Awards which took place on Saturday in Chennai.
