While his two projects are under the post-production stage, Kamal Haasan has already moved on to his next film Papanasam, the official Tamil remake of Malayalam film Drishyam, unfazed by the legal troubles the film’s mired into. Ramesh Arvind, the director of Uttama Villain, is briskly supervising its post-production work and Kamal Haasan has been giving final touch-up to Vishwaroopam 2.
The latest news is that Thirrupathi Brothers will release Uttama Villain as planned earlier for the Gandhi Jayanti weekend and Aascar Ravichandran, who is busy promoting Vikram- Shankar’s Ai, is mulling over releasing Vishwaroopam 2 on Kamal Haasan’s birthday. Earlier, Kamal Haasan confirmed that Uttama Villain will see the light of day before Vishwaroopam 2. It would be a delightful treat to fans if Aascar Ravichandran manages to pull this off.
