Thanu reveals the price of Kabali’s US rights

Kalaipuli S Thanu has revealed the price of the US rights of Rajinikanth’s much-awaited Kabali in a recent welfare function organized by Rajinikanth fans. “The US rights for Kabali (including Tamil and Telugu versions) have been sold for Rs. 8.5 crores. I don’t care if income tax officers are listening to this. But, this is the fact. The film has set a benchmark already,” said Thanu.

Pa. Ranjith is currently working towards completing the final leg of shooting before the end of February and kickstart the post production work soon. The audio launch is expected to happen in March and the film is all set for release in the first week of May, according to reliable sources.
