Thala Ajith to step into the political genre through Vinoth film?

While the Kollywood grapevine is abuzz with reports that Thala Ajith will step into the political genre through his next project with director Vinoth of Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru fame, our sources close to the team deny it. The film will mark his second consecutive association with Vinoth after Nerkonda Paarvai, which is an official Tamil remake of Hindi superhit Pink. 

Thala 60, which will also be produced by Boney Kapoor who bankrolled Nerkonda Paarvai, is expected to be an action entertainer but will have a strong social message. The film’s pre-production has already started and Vinoth is juggling between the post-production work of Nerkonda Paarvai and Thala 60 currently.
