Thala 60 will be an original film: Boney Kapoor

In his recent interaction with the media, Boney Kapoor, who has signed Thala Ajith for Nerkonda Paarvai, and Thala 60, has revealed that the latter will be an original film. Nerkonda Paarvai is an official remake of Hindi super-hit Pink and is helmed by Vinoth of Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru fame.

Thala 60 will also be directed by Vinoth and will mark his second consecutive collaboration with Ajith Kumar. The film will be reportedly set against car racing backdrop and is planned to be shot across four schedules in exotic locations such as Budapest, the Middle East, and South Africa. The movie is tipped to be an action thriller and the makers will head to recce next month.

Meanwhile, Nerkonda Paarvai is slated for release on August 10th worldwide.
