“Thala 56 is a nice treat in the making,” says Ashwin Kakumanu

Ashwin Kakumanu, who shared screen space with Ajith in Venkat Prabhu’s Mankatha, has been roped in to do a supporting role in Thala 56 directed by Siva. Elated with his experience on sets, Ashwin took on to his official Facebook page and shared some interesting information about the project.

“Yesterday I dropped into the ‪#‎Thala56‬ set. First, I met Silva masters stunt fighters who I had not met since Mankatha, some of whom are now married and have children. They congratulated me on my work since then saying ‘romba nalla panringa’. Very talented and hardworking guys who put their bodies through a lot of risk. Kabir is going to be a great antagonist in the film, and was giving his 100%. Siva sir has a got a nice treat in the making…Lots of special things in store for fans and the audience! (theme Verithanam!) Lastly, when Ajith sir introduced me to Kabir Khan he said ‘this is Ashwin, he acted with me in Mankatha, he’s a good actor.’ I thought that was a very sweet gesture on his part coming from a senior actor. It stuck with me till today so thought I’d share. So all in all good energies from the set!” [sic] posted Ashwin.
