Suriya’s Retro takes career biggest opening for the star, to soar higher over the weekend!
Suriya’s Retro has started off on a terrific note at the TN box office, going past all his films in terms of numbers and getting to the top. The film has opened well thanks to the May 1st – public holiday and saw houseful shows right from the morning in the state.
TN distributor of Retro, Sakthi Film Factory announces that the film has grossed 17.75CR in its opening day in the home territory.
Retro has also opened very well overseas – in Malaysia it has grossed 1.2M (double of Kanguva), and also opened well in Sri Lanka, Germany, UK and other locations too. With the long weekend helping, the film is sure to soar higher and register more footfalls going forward.
Opening day worldwide gross is 46CR, announces 2D Entertainment.
