Soori in talks for Vijay 61

Even as Bairavaa is still under the post production stage, Vijay’s next film with director Atlee, fondly called by fans as Vijay 61, has been the talk of the tinsel town ever since Thenandal Films made an official announcement regarding the project. We had earlier reported that veteran comedian Vadivelu was in final talks for the movie. Now, we have learnt that Soori is also in talks for a role and is likely to come on board soon.

Sources say Atlee is planning to rope in Motta Rajendran, who was part of Theri, too to forge a formidable comedy trio. The shooting for the film will kickstart in January in India before the team flies down to the US where major portions will be canned. AR Rahman’s name is doing the rounds for music. Samantha and Kajal Aggarwal are in talks to essay the female leads.
