The song shooting of Thalapathy 62 is currently underway in Gokulam Studios located at the outskirts of Chennai. Vijay and Keerthy Suresh, who is currently basking in the glory of her latest hit Mahanati/Nadigaiyar Thilagam, are part of the ongoing schedule.

Directed by AR Murugadoss and bankrolled by Sun Pictures, Thalapathy 62 also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Radharavi in important roles. The film, which is slated to hit screens for Diwali in November, has music composed by AR Rahman.
