Simbu as Lord Murugan devotee, Taapsee as cop in Selvaraghavan’s next

Reliable sources aver that director Selvaraghavan’s upcoming film has been titled Kaan (Forest). Simbu plays an ardent devotee of Lord Murugan in the film and Taapsee plays a brave role of a cop who is on a mission. While Catherine Tresa plays one of the female leads, Jagabathy Babu and yesteryear actor Suresh play pivotal roles in the film.

The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace with back to back schedules being planned. The film is being produced by Gitanjali Selvaraghavan and Siddharth Rao under the banner Glo Studios. Cinematographer Aravind Krishna and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja are joining hands with Selva for the film after nine years.
