Shruti Haasan on Puli and working with Sridevi

Shruti Haasan has finally opened up about her role in Puli. The fantasy-adventure, which is all set for release tomorrow, will see her play the love-interest of Vijay in the film. “Puli is basically a fantasy film. I am playing the hero’s love interest in the film. The role is a very feminine, gentle, very likeable character,” says Shruti.

Shruti Haasan also raved about working with Sridevi Boney Kapoor, who essays the role of a Queen. “My experience working with Sridevi was fantastic. I have always looked up to her and her career and the kind of work she has done so consistently. And to see her work was even better because she is extremely professional and very, very focussed on her work. She brings a great calm and discipline to her work,” said Shruti Haasan who is gearing up for the release.
