Shraddha Kapoor or Amy Jackson in Vijay 59?

While trustworthy sources confirm that Samantha has been zeroed in to play one of the female leads in Vijay’s upcoming film, fondly called by fans as Vijay 59, speculations have been rife about the other female lead in contention. During the project’s budding stage, names like Deepika Padukone surfaced to pair with Vijay. Now, another happening Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor of Aashiqui 2 fame has also showed up. But, our sources deny any such development and maintain that Amy Jackson is still the leading choice for the second female lead.

Produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu who is joining hands with Vijay after the blockbuster Thuppakki, Vijay 59 will be directed by Atlee. It marks the 50th film of GV Prakash in the industry. The film is likely to go on the floors in July/August.
