Selvaraghavan’s assistant to direct SJ Suryah

Manikandan, a former assistant to director Selvaraghavan, will make his directorial debut in a film titled 174, which will star SJ Suryah in the lead role. Suryah also doubles up as a producer to bankroll the project which will be officially announced very soon.

The plot is centered on the backdrop of Section 174 CrPc, which deals about a death of a woman under suspicious circumstances within seven years of her marriage. The film is billed as a thriller laced with occasional moments of laughter. SJ Suryah plays the role of a cop who will investigate the murder.
