Actor-director Samuthirakani plays the role of a lawyer in Para, which is directed by Keera of Merlin and Pachai Engira Kaathu fame. The story of the film spans events that happen in 12 hours.

The movie has been shot in locations like North Chennai and Nagapattinam. The team is on the verge of completing the shooting and release the film sometime in September.

Meanwhile, Samuthirakani, who is also shooting for Suriya 37 with KV Anand, is busy with the post-production work of Sasikumar’s Nadodigal 2.
