Ritika Singh and Vadivelu join Lawrence’s next
Ritika Singh of Irudhi Suttru fame has been roped in to play the female lead in the official Tamil remake of Kannada film Shivalinga. The remake will be directed by P. Vasu who helmed the original and stars Raghava Lawrence in the lead role. Vadivelu who brought the roof down with his rip-roaring humor in Vasu’s Chandramukhi also plays a supporting role in the project.
Produced by Trident Arts, this yet-untitled film will have music by SS Thaman. The first leg of shooting is expected to go on floors in Chennai soon followed by subsequent schedules in Bangalore, Mysore and Mumbai. The makers are aiming for a Pongal release next year.
