Ravi Varman to crank the cam for Amitash’s Hollywood debut

Model-turned-actor Amitash Pradhan who made his Kollywood debut as the villain in Dhanush’s ‘Velai Illa Pattadhaari’ has now bagged his first Hollywood project, titled ‘Heartbeats’. The film is a dance based love triangle to be directed by Duane Adler, who is known for the screenplay of the Step Up series. The head turning tidbit about this project is that Ravi Varman, who was the name for Mani Ratnam’s next will be handling the camera.

The film will be mostly shot in India, and will narrate the story of an American hip-hop dancer who comes to India for a wedding, and falls in love with a man and the Indian style of dancing. Two leading ladies in Krystal Ellsworth and Aneesha Joshi will be paired opposite Amitash in the film.
