Rajinikanth and Vairamuthu visit DMK President Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi
Superstar Rajinikanth and poet-lyricist Vairamuthu called on DMK President Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi at his Gopalapuram residence yesterday and enquired about his health. A brief video clip of Rajinikanth and Vairamuthu’s visit was shared by Riaz Ahmed, Superstar’s manager, on his Twitter page. DMK treasurer and leader of Opposition was also seen in the video.
The nonagenarian was admitted in Kauvery hospital on December 1 for nutritional and hydration support, and was discharged four days back. “He has been advised rest and Kauvery Hospital will continue to provide the necessary medical care to facilitate his recuperation at home,” read a statement from the hospital.
