Raai Laxmi’s laudable commitment for her role

Raai Laxmi, who was last seen as one of the lead heroines in Sundar C’s horror-comedy Aranmanai, is gearing up for her next role in  Oru Ticketil Rendu Cinema directed by Raghava Lawrence. Raai Laxmi earlier said in an interview that she will have to ‘lose weight and look like a skeleton, completely emaciated and hungry’ for her role in the film. Now, the latest we hear is Raai Laxmi has been preparing for her role arduously by learning gymnastics and other related art forms.

Sources say she has toned down her body to get into the skin of the character and has been staying away from shutterbugs for the past few days. Split into two episodes as Karuppu Durai and Kizhavan, the film has Lawrence playing the lead in both episodes. While Raai Laxmi will be paired with Lawrence for Karuppu Durai, Andrea has been approached for the Kizhavan part. Lawrence is planning to start this film after completing Muni 3.
