Prakash Raj as Nivin Pauly’s dad!
Prakash Raj has been signed to play the role of Nivin Pauly’s dad in the latter’s maiden straight Tamil film, which is being directed by Gautham Ramachandran. Said to be an official remake of Kannada hit Ulidavaru Kandante, this yet-to-be-titled film has already completed two schedules and the next leg of shooting will kickstart in Manappad soon.
“A good father, a best companion, a notorious villain – that’s what we can say about Prakash Raj Sir. He is an encyclopedia of Emotions. We are very proud to have him onboard. Prakash Raj sir plays a pastor AK Sagayam in this untitled film. Nivin pauly plays his son. Both dad and son will be rarely meeting each other, and that too only in the church processions. It is almost like a cold war,” says Gautham in an official statement.
