Ponniyin Selvan overtakes Vikram to become highest grossing film of all time in TN
Mani Ratnam’s mega blockbuster Ponniyin Selvan has now overtaken Kamal Haasan’s Vikram to become the highest grossing film of all time in TN. Vikram had done a box office number of 190 crores, which has now been beaten by Ponniyin Selvan which has done more than 200 crores solely from the Tamil Nadu box office.
Ponniyin Selvan has also beaten all other films in the USA, and has become the first Tamil film to cross the 6 million mark in the USA. The film is also the highest Tamil earner of all time in the UK, Malaysia and Singapore.
