Thunivu and Varisu to clash at the box office for Pongal 2023?

According to the latest reports in the industry, a mega clash is set to happen for the Pongal festival of 2023, as we will have both Ajith’s Thunivu and Vijay’s Varisu to clash at the box office. However, trade pundits say that the films will not release on the same date – instead, they will be taking turns and picking a day each in succession.

Sources say that Thunivu is likely to release first on the 12th of January, and will be followed by Varisu on the 13th. Both the films are almost done with their final shoot schedules and will be moving into the post-production stage in full swing now.
