“Please don’t compare me with Superstar Rajini Sir,” requests Lawrence
After Lawrence fans juxtaposed pictures of his recent cop avatar in Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva with Rajinikanth’s popular cop role of Alex Pandian from Moondru Mugam, the choreographer-turned-director took to Facebook to request his fans to stop comparing him with his idol Rajinikanth.
“Hi.. Friends and Fans I saw this fan made photos of Rajini sir’s and me in some facebook and twitter pages.. I just wanted to tell one thing to my fans please don’t compare me with super star Rajini Sir becoz I’m very small in front of him,” [SIC] wrote Lawrence on his Facebook page.
With the shooting for Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva nearing completion, the film’s TN theatrical rights have already been secured by ‘Zero Rules’ Sivabalan for a whopping sum of INR 18 crores, a record for Lawrence in the state. The movie is all set for late summer release in May.
