Nivin Pauly dubbing in own voice in his first straight Tamil film

Nivin Pauly is dubbing in his own voice in his first straight Tamil project with debutant director Gautham Ramachandran. Nivin is currently on a break for Christmas holidays in Kerala and will head to Chennai soon to resume dubbing.

Based on the critically acclaimed Kannada film Ulidavaru Kandante, the screenplay of this yet-untitled project has been altered to suit the sensibilities of Tamil audiences. Major portions of the film were shot in the coastal town Manappad situated in Thoothukudi. The film also stars Shraddha Srinath, Prakash Raj, Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli and Natty in important roles. Santa Maria and Avargal are the names doing rounds for the film’s title.
