Nithya Menen and Sri Divya in talks for Thala 56
The latest update on Thala 56 is Nithya Menen has been approached to play the role of Ajith’s sister. Bindu Madhavi was earlier reported to play the role, but she clarified promptly in an event that she was not part of the film. Now, sources say the team is in talks with both Sri Divya and Nithya Menen for the role and is looking forward to rope in one of the two.
Directed by Siva, the main premise of Thala 56 revolves around brother-sister relationship. Interestingly, Ajith’s last film Yennai Arindhaal was centred on father-daughter relationship. Shruti Haasan is paired with Ajith for the first time. The music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
