Speaking at the press meet of Thoongavanam in Hyderabad yesterday, Trisha Krishnan, who pairs up with Kamal Haasan for the second time after Manmandhan Ambu in the film, said she has a never-seen-before look and never-done-before character. “I’m extremely privileged and blessed to be a part of this project. Kishore of Aadukalam and Pollathavan fame is also doing an important role in the film in addition to Prakash Raj and Uma Riaz who were signed earlier.
“The look of Trisha will be unveiled in the second look posters of the film,” assured Kamal Haasan at the press meet. Directed by Rajesh Selvam, Kamal’s long-standing assistant, Thoongavanam went on floors in Hyderabad yesterday. The Telugu version has been titled Cheekati Rajyam.
