Nalan Kumarasamy turns producer with ‘Uriyadi’

Director Nalan Kumarasamy, who made heads turn with his debut feature Soodhu Kavvum, has started a new production house Pinrom Pictures along with his friend Sameer Bharat Ram with an intent to produce happy, entertaining films.

Currently, Nalan and Sameer are co-producing Uriyadi which is being directed by Vijay Kumar of Naalaiya Iyakkunar fame. The film is said to be a revenge thriller and centered of the lives of youngsters in the 1990s. Their next production is an anthology of six short films with a common theme. Nalan Kumaraasamy will be directing one of the shorts.
