Mersal album scores a whopping 10 million streams on Saavn
Thalapathy Vijay’s Mersal, the biggest blockbuster of 2017 in Tamil cinema, still continues to break records. The film’s album, composed by AR Rahman, has scored a whopping 10 million streams on India’s most popular audio streaming platform Saavn.

It must be noted that AR Rahman is also composing the music for Thalapathy 62 which is being directed by AR Murugadoss and bankrolled by Sun Pictures. The shooting, which was progressing in the city, was halted due to the ongoing strike in Kollywood.
