Mani Ratnam flags off choreographer Brindha’s directorial debut starring Dulquer Salmaan
Ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam on Thursday flagged off the directorial debut of choreographer Brindha in Tamil. The film has been titled Hey Sinamika and stars Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. The first leg of shooting kickstarted in Chennai yesterday.
Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari have been signed to play the lead heroine roles in the movie. Kajal Aggarwal couldn’t make it to the film’s pooja since she was busy with other commitments and is expected to join the team soon. Hey Sinamika is produced by Jio Studios, marking their debut in film production in the south.
