Maari 2 will have more depth to Dhanush’s character

Even as Dhanush is busy with Durai Senthilkumar’s Kodi and has a handful of projects coming up next including Vetrimaaran’s Vada Chennai, a hugely anticipated Hollywood debut and an untitled project with Aanand L Rai, his Maari 2 is also getting firmed up now. Balaji Mohan is said to have started working on the story in a full-fledged manner.

“This time, Dhanush’s character will have more depth with an interesting plot. We plan to go on floors in October, because nothing can be done without the moustache. Dhanush will complete Kodi, Vetrimaaran film, Aanand L Rai film and the English film before starting this project,” says a source in the know. Dhanush’s next two films immediate releases will be the tentatively titled Rail and Kodi.
