Lingaa sets a benchmark in Karnataka
Rajinikanth and records are synonymous to each other. Whenever a Rajinikanth film releases, the old box-office records will be broken and new records will be created by the undisputable king of box-office. On that note, Superstar’s latest offering Lingaa has set a massive record in Karnataka. The distribution rights for the film are sold to Sri Gokul films for a lavish sum of 11 crores. It is worth mentioning that substantial portions of Lingaa have been shot in the state.
Produced by Rockline Venkatesh and directed by KS Ravikumar, Lingaa has Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha to its star cast. The film is all set to release in nearly 600 screens in Tamil Nadu on December 12th. The advance bookings are expected to kick off from this weekend.
