As the discussions between theater owners, distributors and the makers of Kaththi have reached an impasse before the final meeting which is scheduled at 3 PM, the promotional strategies of the film have touched a breath of fresh air. Colorful, long posters of the film adorn the AC coaches of Parasuram Express which transcends borders of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala in its joruney from Nagercoil to Mangalore to cater to passengers travelling for the Diwali festival.
This is the first time a poster of a Tamil film has been glued to a train running in Kerala and Kaththi creates yet another record of sorts in this marketing buzz. On the release front, a final decision will be taken in the meeting scheduled today. If the film gets a green signal, advance bookings are expected to be opened from 6 PM in the evening.
