AR Murugadoss and Lyca to produce Kaththi Hindi remake
AR Murugadoss and Lyca Productions will bankroll the official Hindi remake of Vijay’s blockbuster hit Kaththi. Akshay Kumar, who reprised Vijay’s role in Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, a remake of Thuppakki, has been signed on to play the lead role once again.
The film will be directed by Jagan, a former associate of AR Murugadoss, who is long-known for uplifting his assistants with precious opportunities. The shooting will roll out from April, 2016. The female lead and other supporting cast will be finalized soon.
