Kaatru Veliyidai Kerala rights acquired by Shibu Thameens
Popular producer-distributor Shibu Thameens has acquired the Kerala theatrical rights of Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai, which is gearing up for release in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously on April 7th. Since Shibu Thameens has a great foothold in Kerala, the film is expected to have a good release in the state.
The TN release is being taken care of by Sri Thenandal Films. Directed by Mani Ratnam, Kaatru Veliyidai is said to be a romantic thriller and features Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari as leads. The team has already released three songs from the album composed by AR Rahman.
