Jigarthanda goes to Sandalwood
After the huge success in Tamil, Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda is all set for its official remake in Sandalwood. The remake in Kannada will see Ravi Shankar, who played the antagonist role in Indru Netru Naalai, reprise the national award winning performance of Bobby Simha.
Earlier, Karthik Subbaraj resorted to legal measure when the film’s producer Kathiresan sealed a tacit deal with a famous Bollywood producer for the remake rights. Now, it is yet to be seen if the Kannada remake rights are sold in good order.
