“It was a fan-girl moment to work with GV Prakash,” says Sema actress Arthana Binu

Arthana Binu, who was last seen as Samuthirakani’s sister in Thondan, will play the lead heroine in GV Prakash’s forthcoming release Sema, which will hit screens on May 25th.

“More than being a co-star, it was a fangirl moment to work with GV Prakash. I have watched all his movies, but it’s his musical embellishment that interests me a lot, especially his unparalleled mastery in rendering background score. We are now good friends,” starts off Arthana.

So what really impressed her about ‘Sema’?

“The beautiful narration of Valliganth and the way my characterization Magizhini is sketched impressed me a lot. I play the role with girl-to-next door shades from the Southern part of Tamil Nadu backdrops. I would say that Magizhini true to her name would be someone that everyone among us would have definitely come across at some point in our lives. I am really thankful to Valliganth for helping me adapt this role with easiness,” she said.

Her next couple of projects is yet again the ones across countryside namely Karthi’s Kadaikutty Singam and Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu 2 with Vikranth.
