Indian 2: Cinematographer Rathnavelu to team up with Shankar after Enthiran
Cinematographer Rathnavelu, who has been part of some big-budget films in Telugu such as Brahmotsavam, Rangasthalam, and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, is all set to replace ace lensman Ravi Varman for Indian 2. The project marks his reunion with Shankar after Enthiran.
The shooting of Indian 2 is expected to resume from August 19 in Rajahmundry. Director Shankar is currently busy fine-tuning the full supporting cast of the film with leading artists.
Besides Kamal Haasan in the lead role, Indian 2 also stars Siddharth, Rakul Preet, Aishwarya Rajesh, Kajal Aggarwal and Priya Bhavani Shankar in important characters. Anirudh Ravichander has been signed to score the music for the film, which is being bankrolled by Lyca.
