Gautham Menon in talks to helm Dhruv Vikram’s Varma

The grapevine in K’town is that ace filmmaker Gautham Menon is in talks to helm the Tamil remake of Varma starring Dhruv Vikram. The project was initially directed by Bala and completed before it was dropped by producer E4 Entertainment stating that they were not at all happy with the final output.

Now, sources say many directors have expressed their interest in the film, which featured newcomer Megha Chowdhury as the lead heroine and Raiza Wilson in an important role. The makers are planning to start shooting for the film from March and are aiming for a June 2019 release.
