Dil Raju acquires Telugu rights for Kaatru Veliyidai
Popular producer-distributor Dil Raju has acquired the theatrical rights for the Telugu dubbed version of Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai. Sources say producer Bandla Ganesh Babu of Parameswara Art Productions was unable to clinch the deal since Dil Raju offered a good sum to the makers.
Starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles, the shooting of Kaatru Veliyidai is currently progressing at a brisk pace. The team has already completed 60% of portions in Ooty and Chennai. AR Rahman composes music for this romance drama, which also has RJ Balaji, Rukmini Vijayakumar, KPAC Lalitha and Vipin Sharma in important roles.
