Dhanush is my best friend in the industry, says Vijay Yesudas

In an interview to the BBC, singer-turned-actor Vijay Yesudas has opened up on his friendship with Dhanush. Vijay revealed that Dhanush is his best friend in the industry and their friendship has strengthened over the past 5-6 years.

Vijay said that Dhanush first laughed off the idea of having him as the villain in Maari, but later signed him on after the audition and the workshops. Maari has Dhanush, Kajal, Vijay Yesudas and Robo Shankar in the starcast. It has music by Anirudh and is directed by Balaji Mohan. Maari is scheduled to release on July 17th.
