Chiyaan Vikram’s Mahavir Karna kickstarts in Kerala

Chiyaan Vikram’s period drama Mahavir Karna kickstarted yesterday from the land of Sree Padmanabha. The team received a holy temple bell in front of Sree Padmanabha which is going to be a part of the 30 feet hight chariot of Karna in the movie.

The film, which is based on the Hindu epic Mahabharata, will be directed by RS Vimal of Malayalam romance drama Ennu Ninte Moideen fame and produced by New York-based United Film Kingdom.

While Vikram will essay the titular role of Karna, the team is in talks with a few Hollywood actors for the role of Bheema in the film. Mahavir Karna will be made in Hindi and Tamil and will be dubbed in other languages.
