“Chennai 28 sequel is set against a village backdrop,” says Yuvan

Yuvan Shankar Raja, who will continue his long-standing collaboration with director Venkat Prabhu in the second instalment of Chennai 28, says the film is a complete village subject. The story is set against a village backdrop this time and Yuvan assures that it will be an interesting film.

The project is expected to go on the floors next week in Chennai. The second leg of shooting will happen in and around Courtallam and Sivakasi. The film will be reportedly wrapped before mid-June. The movie is produced by Venkat Prabhu’s Black Ticket Company and features the entire team of the first instalment, besides new additions including Mahat and Vaibhav.
